Merlin Röhl's Permanent Transfer to Everton Confirmed
Merlin Röhl has finalized his move to Everton on a permanent basis, with the club reportedly paying Freiburg €25 million. Röhl spent the previous season on loan at The Toffees and has now committed his future to the Merseyside club.
Röhl initially joined Freiburg from Ingolstadt in 2022 for €2.9 million. He spent three seasons in the Bundesliga, featuring in 48 matches, before his loan spell in the Premier League, where he made a positive impression under manager David Moyes.
In an official announcement, Everton confirmed that Röhl has signed a three-year contract, securing his services at the club until June 2029.
