Furthermore, unlike the potential acquisition of Álvarez, Skhiri's salary demands are not expected to be a hindrance for the club managed by René Wagner. Negotiations are reportedly already underway, and if the move for Álvarez falters, FC Köln is expected to intensify their efforts to sign Skhiri.
