Bayern Munich Pursues Permanent Signing of Bara Sapoko Ndiaye
Bayern Munich is reportedly keen on securing the permanent transfer of 18-year-old Senegalese attacking midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.
Ndiaye initially joined the German giants on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa in January 2026 as part of Bayern's Red&Gold Football initiative, which focuses on developing international talent. This collaboration includes a partnership with Los Angeles FC.
Before returning to Munich in January, Ndiaye underwent a trial period in the city and also spent time with Grasshoppers Zurich. During his stint in Zurich, he participated in a friendly match against a team managed by Vincent Kompany.
Following his recovery from an injury, Ndiaye made his Bundesliga debut on Matchday 29. He came on as a substitute for Jamal Musiala in Bayern's record-breaking victory against St. Pauli.
Bayern Munich's Intentions for Bara Sapoko Ndiaye
According to reports, Bayern Munich is now considering a permanent deal for the Senegalese midfielder. For the young player to gain adequate playing experience, a loan spell is also being considered as a viable option. Vincent Kompany has previously lauded Ndiaye, expressing his admiration for the player's character and potential within Bayern's youth academy.
"We're excited about his personality," Kompany stated. "He's shown that he's one of the talents we have in Bayern's youth academy. Things are going well for him."
