RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons has made the decision to leave the German club during the upcoming summer transfer window, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
According to the source, several prominent European teams are reportedly interested in acquiring the 21-year-old Dutch international`s services. These clubs include Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United. It is understood that RB Leipzig will seek a transfer fee in the region of 80 million euros for Simons.
During the 2023/24 season, Simons was a significant contributor for Leipzig, scoring 10 goals and providing 8 assists in 32 appearances across all competitions. His existing contract with the club is valid until June 30, 2027.
Transfermarkt estimates the player`s current market value to be 70 million euros.
