Torino Pursue Reims Goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf, Rivaling Lens

Yehvann Diouf, the 24-year-old Stade de Reims goalkeeper, is anticipated to be a top target in the upcoming summer transfer window. RC Lens had identified him as their primary choice for the No. 1 spot, but their pursuit might be challenged. Italian club Torino is reported to have started negotiations for Diouf and is reportedly ready to offer more than Lens to secure his signing.

Lens had prioritized Diouf to take over from Brice Samba but is hesitant to meet Reims` valuation of €10 million. Despite their recent relegation to Ligue 2, the club from the Champagne region is reportedly firm on their asking price, especially given the possibility of avoiding demotion if Lyon`s legal challenge regarding DNCG decisions is successful.

Torino has reportedly already engaged in talks with both Diouf`s representatives and Stade de Reims officials. They view the Senegal international as the suitable successor for Vanja Milinković-Savić, their current goalkeeper. Milinković-Savić is widely expected to leave this summer following a strong 2024/25 season, attracting interest from clubs like Napoli, Monaco, and several Premier League teams.
