According to Sunday`s reports, Theo Hernandez will not join the rest of the AC Milan squad for the commencement of pre-season training next week. This decision comes as the player awaits the official finalization of his transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
Theo Hernandez is reportedly on the brink of completing a permanent transfer to Al-Hilal, concluding his six-year tenure at San Siro with the Rossoneri.
Milan had initially been seeking a fee around €25 million for the France international, who is now in the final year of his contract. Multiple sources suggest that the deal is close to being concluded for a fee comprising €20 million plus potential add-ons worth up to €5 million.

Furthermore, reports indicate that the player himself is set to earn a significant annual salary of €20 million under his new contract with Al-Hilal.
Hernandez Not Reporting for Milan Training
Reports from Italian media outlets confirm that Theo will not be present with the main Milan squad for the start of pre-season training, scheduled to begin on Monday, July 7.
Similarly, Yacine Adli, Ismael Bennacer, and Devis Vasquez are also expected to be absent from the initial training sessions. All three players are anticipated to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
Although technically granted a few extra days of holiday, the understanding is that none of these four players are considered part of the club`s plans for the forthcoming season.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are actively seeking a long-term replacement for Theo at left-back. Reports from Sunday suggest that 23-year-old Archie Brown from Gent is among the primary candidates being considered for a summer transfer.
