Milan Skriniar, the former Inter defender currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain, has expressed his willingness to potentially move to Napoli. He highlighted his close relationship with Stanislav Lobotka, stating, “It`s all open.”
The central defender has frequently been the subject of transfer rumours linking him with a switch to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. This speculation is partly fuelled by his previous experience working under Antonio Conte during their time together at Inter.
Speaking to CalcioNapoli24 while attending a farewell testimonial event for Marek Hamsik, the 30-year-old was directly asked about the prospect of joining the Naples club.
Skriniar Open to Napoli Transfer
Skriniar confirmed his position, responding, “Lobotka is one of my best friends, so we`ll see… It`s all open!”
He elaborated on his desire to play alongside his friend: “I would love to play with Lobotka, obviously. It is all open for me now. I am very happy for Hamsik, as he is a legend for Napoli and Slovakia, so playing in his testimonial will be a lot of fun.”
Skriniar joined PSG as a free agent from Inter in the summer of 2023. He previously spent a significant portion of his career in Serie A, initially arriving in Italy with Sampdoria in 2016 before making a €34m move to Inter just 12 months later.
His current contract with Paris Saint-Germain is set to run until June 2028.
