Sarri previously managed the Biancocelesti for nearly three seasons, from 2021 to 2024. He submitted his resignation in March of last year, following a challenging period and a poor run of results at the Stadio Olimpico.

His return is now anticipated just 15 months after his departure.

Reports suggest Sarri is expected to have increased involvement in transfer decisions during this second spell. For instance, it is understood that he will only approve the departure of a key player if a suitable replacement has been secured beforehand.
