Italy international Mateo Retegui is reportedly willing to consider a contract offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah that could see him earn €20 million per season, including bonuses. Sources suggest that the significant financial terms and ongoing discussions have alleviated his initial reservations about moving to the Saudi Pro League at this stage of his career. He is now understood to be open to accepting the personal terms proposed by Al-Qadsiah.
Forward Ready for Potential Al-Qadsiah Move

The next phase involves Al-Qadsiah reaching an agreement on the transfer fee with Atalanta. The Bergamo-based club has reportedly set their asking price for Retegui at approximately €60 million. This figure would represent a substantial profit for `La Dea`, who acquired the player from Genoa for €21.9 million less than a year ago.
The 26-year-old striker made a notable impact during his time in Bergamo. According to the report, he finished the season as Serie A`s top scorer (`Capocannoniere`), contributing 25 goals and eight assists in 36 appearances. Retegui has also scored six goals in 20 senior appearances for the Italian national team. It remains to be seen whether a transfer to the Saudi Pro League would affect his standing and future call-ups for the Azzurri.
In anticipation of a potential departure, Atalanta are already looking at options for a replacement striker. Udinese`s Italian forward, Lorenzo Lucca, is rumoured to be one of the players they are considering.
