Italian media sources indicate that Al-Qadsiah, a club in the Saudi Pro League, is getting ready to submit an official bid to Atalanta for Italian international striker Mateo Retegui. This follows their unsuccessful attempts to sign Moise Kean and Jonathan David earlier this summer.
Al-Qadsiah Set to Bid for Retegui

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Al-Qadsiah is expected to make their formal offer for Retegui to Atalanta on Thursday. Retegui only arrived at Atalanta (known as `La Dea`) last summer.
While the precise transfer fee hasn`t been disclosed, Atalanta reportedly values the player at around €50m to €60m.

The affluent Saudi club is now targeting Retegui after their move for Juventus striker Moise Kean collapsed at the end of June.
Their attempt for Juventus striker Moise Kean failed despite Al-Qadsiah being ready to trigger his reported €52m release clause. Kean himself reportedly declined the transfer, despite suggestions of a highly profitable contract potentially worth €15m to €20m per season.
Al-Qadsiah had also considered signing free agent Jonathan David, but he is now expected to complete a medical examination with Juventus instead.
