Just a day before a significant match, reports continue to circulate claiming that Simone Inzaghi is poised to move to Al-Hilal. This comes despite the Inter coach`s own statements indicating his wish to remain at the Milan club.
The focus is primarily on the upcoming season and the transfer market, rather than solely on the team`s sporting objectives.
Ideally, the conversation would be centered on Inter`s potential to clinch victory in upcoming fixtures, particularly after narrowly missing out on a major European trophy in 2023.
However, according to Footmercato, Inzaghi has reportedly given his commitment to sign with Al-Hilal at the conclusion of the current season. This agreement is said to involve a staggering annual salary of €30 million.
While rumours persist about the fluidity of the situation, Inzaghi attempted to alleviate concerns among supporters during a recent interview with Sky Sport Italia.
He was quoted as saying, “I have said many times that I am content at this club. I have everything I need here to perform well and keep achieving success.”
Inzaghi also addressed the numerous questions regarding his future during a press conference.
He insisted, “Look, there is a significant match coming up. From Monday, we will meet and calmly discuss what is best for Inter.”

Since taking the helm in 2021, Inzaghi has guided Inter to considerable success, securing one Serie A title, winning the Coppa Italia twice, claiming three Italian Super Cups, and reaching the Champions League Final on two occasions.
