Reportedly, RC Lens is showing interest in Olympique de Marseille`s forward, Neal Maupay (28).
Maupay was occasionally effective for Marseille during the season, particularly before Amine Gouiri joined in January. Following Gouiri`s arrival, the ex-player for Brighton, Brentford, and Everton featured less frequently in the latter half of the season.
He made 24 appearances throughout the season, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
Sources indicate Maupay`s future at the Vélodrome might be uncertain, yet he is still attracting interest from other clubs.
RC Lens is interested in the French player, potentially as part of a transfer involving Facundo Medina moving to Marseille. Reports suggest a €20 million agreement for Medina is nearing completion, but Lens` interest in Maupay means the striker could be included as part of the negotiation. Regardless, Lens highly values the Marseille forward.
