PSG Secure Place in 2029 Club World Cup Following 2025 Champions League Triumph

FIFA has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain secured their spot in the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup by winning the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League. The Parisian side, managed by Luis Enrique, achieved this qualification by dominantly defeating Inter Milan with a 5-0 scoreline in the Champions League final held in Munich on Saturday night. This victory set a new record for the largest winning margin in a Champions League final. Looking ahead, the Champions League winners are scheduled to face Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur in Udine on Wednesday, August 13.

In addition to securing a place in the 2029 Club World Cup, PSG also qualified for the 2025 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Al-Ahli, winners of the 2025 AFC Champions League, are another club confirmed to participate in the 2029 event. Thanks to their high UEFA ranking, Les Parisiens were also eligible to compete in the expanded 2025 Club World Cup tournament.
