PSG Enters Discussions for River Plate Talent Franco Mastantuono

Football News

Even though Paris Saint-Germain is entirely focused on Saturday`s UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan, the club is reportedly also making moves to sign 17-year-old Franco Mastantuono from River Plate, according to Fabrizio Romano.

With Sporting Director Luís Campos` future now settled following his long-term contract extension earlier this month, PSG is now actively pursuing their plans for the summer transfer window.

Campos holds the player in high regard, which has led PSG to join several other European clubs interested in the young midfielder. Romano indicates that clubs in England and Spain are also keen, prompting the Parisian club to try and get ahead of their rivals. Talks have reportedly begun with River Plate regarding Mastantuono`s potential transfer. While an agreement hasn`t been finalized, the French champions are actively working to secure the deal.
