AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu, aged 26, is understood to be looking for a move away from the club this summer, with significant interest in the player.
Salisu joined Monaco from Southampton in the summer of 2023. His first season was marked by several injuries. He featured more prominently at the beginning of the most recent campaign, but by the end, he had become primarily a backup option. This limited him to just 15 Ligue 1 appearances for the season, with his last league start occurring on February 1st.
The recent arrival of Eric Dier could further restrict his opportunities next season, leading Salisu to seek a departure from the Principality. Turkish giants Galatasaray are reported to be interested. Additionally, sources suggest interest from the Saudi Pro League and clubs in the Premier League, where his prior spell at Southampton is still well-regarded. Monaco is reportedly valuing the defender at no less than €15 million.
