Mohammed Salisu, the 26-year-old defender for AS Monaco, is reportedly seeking a move away from the club this summer, and several teams have shown interest.
Salisu joined Monaco from Southampton in the summer of 2023. His first season with the club was challenging, partly due to injuries. Although he featured more prominently at the beginning of the last campaign, he ended up being used primarily as a backup option. This limited him to just 15 appearances in Ligue 1, with his last start occurring on February 1st.
With the recent arrival of Eric Dier, Salisu`s opportunities for game time next season could be further reduced, leading him to look for a departure from the Principality. Turkish giants Galatasaray have been mentioned as potential suitors, and reports also indicate interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League as well as the Premier League. His previous spell at Southampton is seemingly well-remembered in England. Monaco is reportedly unwilling to sell the defender for less than €15 million.
