Reports indicate that Paul Pogba (32) has selected his shirt number ahead of his expected transfer to Monaco. The French international midfielder is set to wear the number 8 jersey upon joining the Principality club.
The former Manchester United player is nearing an official announcement by Monaco, having reportedly completed his medical. Pogba is understood to have agreed a two-year contract, joining as a free agent. His availability follows the termination of his contract with Juventus after he served an 18-month ban for a doping violation.

Pogba is not the only new signing expected to be confirmed soon at Stade Louis II. Monaco is also reportedly set to announce the arrival of Ansu Fati (22) on loan from Barcelona, with an option to buy for €11 million. Reports suggest the Spanish forward`s move to Monaco is likely to be finalised at the start of July.
