Paul Pogba has reportedly chosen the shirt number he will wear upon joining AS Monaco. The French international midfielder is expected to don the number 8 jersey for Les Monégasques.
The former Manchester United player is set to be officially unveiled as a Monaco player soon, having successfully completed his medical examination. Pogba arrives at the Principality club on a free transfer, signing a contract for two years. He became a free agent after his previous contract with Juventus was terminated following an 18-month doping ban.
Additional Signings Expected
Pogba is not the only new arrival anticipated at the Stade Louis II. The Ligue 1 side is also reportedly close to finalising a loan agreement for Ansu Fati, the 22-year-old forward from Barcelona. This deal is said to include an option for Monaco to purchase the Spaniard for €11 million. Fati`s transfer to Les Monégasques is expected to be confirmed early in July.
