Paul Pogba Completes Two-Year Transfer to AS Monaco

Football News

Paul Pogba, aged 32, is set to return to professional football after officially signing a two-year contract with AS Monaco, the club has confirmed.

The French midfielder became a free agent following the mutual termination of his contract with Juventus. This decision occurred during his doping ban, which ended in March. However, due to French football regulations preventing his immediate registration upon the conclusion of the ban during the latter half of the season, he did not secure a new club straight away.

Nevertheless, AS Monaco, looking to strengthen their squad with experienced players ahead of their upcoming UEFA Champions League campaign, have successfully signed the former Manchester United and Juventus star on a two-year deal. Pogba`s arrival coincides with that of Ansu Fati, who is expected to finalise an initial loan deal with the club on July 1st. These two prominent additions are the second and third signings for the Principality club in the current transfer window, following the earlier free transfer acquisition of Eric Dier.
