Marcin Bulka, the 25-year-old goalkeeper, has reportedly agreed terms to join Saudi Arabian club Neom SC. Furthermore, an agreement for his transfer has now been reached between Neom SC and his current club, OGC Nice.
Nice is actively seeking to sell Bulka during the current summer transfer window. With his contract set to expire next summer, negotiations over a potential renewal have reached a deadlock for several months. The French club is unwilling to risk losing him as a free agent in 2025, making a summer departure the most likely outcome. This move also aligns with Nice`s need to generate funds from player sales to facilitate their own signings in the transfer market.
English club Sunderland had appeared to be the frontrunner for Bulka`s signature and were reportedly close to a €20 million transfer agreement. While Sunderland is said to be still pushing for the deal, Bulka has ultimately opted for Neom SC. Consequently, agreements are now understood to be in place between the player, Neom SC, and OGC Nice, paving the way for his move to Saudi Arabia.
