Inter Milan have officially completed the permanent transfer of Polish midfielder Nicola Zalewski from AS Roma. The deal was confirmed after the Nerazzurri decided to activate the €6.5 million buy option included in Zalewski`s loan agreement.
Zalewski joined Inter on loan for the latter half of the 2024-25 season, arriving on February 1st. During this period, he made 17 appearances across all competitions for the club.
The Milanese club announced the permanent signing earlier this evening via their official website. Zalewski is already integrated with the team and is part of their squad for the ongoing Club World Cup tournament.
Impact at Inter
The Polish international quickly made his mark, instantly becoming a fan favorite. His immediate impact was highlighted by providing the assist for Stefan de Vrij`s crucial stoppage-time equalizer in the Milan derby, just a day after his arrival.

Zalewski found the back of the net for the first and only time for Inter in May, scoring in their 2-0 victory against Torino. He also featured as a second-half substitute in the Champions League final, where Inter suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to PSG.
