Inter Milan have officially completed the signing of Petar Sucic, the 21-year-old midfielder, from Dinamo Zagreb. The permanent transfer follows his medical tests conducted in January.
Sucic is expected to join the squad immediately and will be eligible to participate in the upcoming Club World Cup tournament later this month.
Transfer Details and Player Profile
While specific figures were not detailed in the official announcement, reports indicate the permanent deal is valued at around €14 million, potentially rising by another €2.5 million through add-ons.
Sucic has developed into a promising talent in Croatia. In the 2023/24 season, he made 42 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb, scoring twice as the club won the Croatian league title, the Croatian Cup, and the Super Cup. During the most recent 2024/25 campaign, he made 31 appearances and scored seven goals, marking his most productive season to date.
A versatile midfielder with good vision and technique, Sucic also recently made his senior international debut for Croatia, even scoring in the Nations League.
Petar Sucic becomes the eighth Croatian player in Inter Milan`s history, following in the footsteps of notable compatriots like Mateo Kovačić and Marcelo Brozović who also moved from Dinamo Zagreb to the Nerazzurri. He is also the cousin of Real Sociedad midfielder Luka Sučić.
