Official: Igor Tudor Extends Juventus Contract

Football News

Juventus has officially confirmed that Igor Tudor has signed a contract extension. The new deal keeps him at the club until June 2027, with an option to extend for an additional year until June 2028. The club`s official statement on Friday highlighted Tudor`s “Passion. Charisma. Juventus spirit,” stating these qualities define his impact since taking charge of the first team in late March and will continue to do so. Juventus expressed enthusiasm for future chapters with Tudor.

His strong connection with the club has deepened, particularly following his work in the latter part of the recent Serie A season, where he successfully guided the team to secure qualification for the next UEFA Champions League. His time at the helm started with a home victory against Genoa at the Allianz Stadium and concluded positively with an important away win at Venezia on the final matchday.

Originally appointed in March after Thiago Motta`s dismissal, Tudor`s successful Champions League qualification automatically triggered a contract extension until 2026. Earlier this week, new General Manager Damien Comolli praised the former defender, confirming his role for the entire 2025-26 season. Following this, Tudor agreed to further extend his commitment to Juventus by another year. During his initial period in charge, Tudor achieved five wins, three draws, and one defeat.
