Football News

Saudi Pro League club Neom SC has confirmed the signing of veteran forward Alexandre Lacazette, aged 34. The former star for Lyon and Arsenal has penned a two-year deal with the recently promoted team, which is set to be managed by former PSG boss Christophe Galtier. Lacazette, an academy graduate of Lyon, moved to Neom as a free agent following the conclusion of his three-year contract with his former club.

Across his two stints at Lyon, Lacazette made 391 appearances, scoring 201 goals and providing 55 assists for Les Gones. At Neom, he will reunite with former Lyon teammate Saïd Benrahma, an Algerian international winger. The French striker, born in Lyon, underwent and passed his medical examination with Neom last week. There are also reports that Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka is expected to make the move to the Saudi Pro League club.
