New York Red Bulls has reportedly made an offer to RB Leipzig for German forward Timo Werner. According to The Athletic, negotiations are currently underway for the 29-year-old`s potential move to MLS.
Werner spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Tottenham, but the North London club decided not to make the move permanent. The player himself is reportedly unwilling to remain at Leipzig.
During his loan spell with Spurs, Werner appeared in 27 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing three assists. The specialized football portal Transfermarkt values the player at 7 million euros.
