Napoli are reportedly preparing an offer over €30 million for Bologna defender Sam Beukema, who is eager to make the move.
The Bologna defender has expressed his wish to sign for the Serie A champions, informing his current club of his intentions.
Beukema`s Desire for a Napoli Move
Bologna`s management hopes to retain the 26-year-old, but this may prove difficult. Napoli have been pursuing the Dutch center-back for nearly three months, and his contract runs until 2027.
Although Bologna intends to resist, Napoli is ready to submit a bid in the range of €30m to €35m, potentially including add-ons.
Conte Personally Requested Beukema
Napoli coach Antonio Conte specifically requested Beukema, aiming to strengthen the team`s defense.
Additionally, sources close to the situation have confirmed that Empoli defender Luca Marianucci is scheduled for a medical examination with Napoli next Tuesday.
