Napoli is reportedly close to finalizing their third new player acquisition of the summer transfer window. The Serie A club and PSV Eindhoven are expected to exchange the necessary paperwork soon to complete the transfer of Noa Lang.
Lang has been a target for Napoli for some time, with the club having previously attempted to sign him during the January transfer window.
Six months later, manager Antonio Conte`s side is now on the verge of adding Lang to the squad. The deal is anticipated to be worth just under €30 million, potentially including a small sell-on clause for PSV based on a future transfer fee.
Lang Deal Expected Soon
The clubs involved are expected to exchange the official contracts in the immediate future.
As a natural left-winger, Lang`s arrival is intended to boost Conte`s options on the flanks. In the latter part of the 2024-25 season, following Khvica Kvaratskhelia`s January departure for Paris Saint-Germain, David Neres and Matteo Politano were the primary natural wide players available.
Lang`s transfer is set to become Napoli`s third signing of the summer, following the earlier additions of Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer and Luca Marianucci from Empoli.
