Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly taken personal charge of negotiations to sign Darwin Nuñez from Liverpool. He is said to have met with agent Fali Ramadani, who is involved in facilitating the striker`s potential transfer.
De Laurentiis in talks for Nuñez
De Laurentiis personally met with Ramadani to discuss a move for Nuñez to the Stadio Maradona.

Discussions between Liverpool and Napoli have reportedly stalled, prompting De Laurentiis to engage directly with the representative facilitating the potential transfer, even though Ramadani is not Nuñez`s primary agent.
The Liverpool forward is understood to be receptive to a move to Naples, suggesting that personal terms should not present a significant hurdle.
Nuñez open to joining Napoli

However, securing a transfer fee with Liverpool remains an obstacle. The English club`s asking price is reportedly €60m, though some sources suggest Napoli might be able to finalize a deal closer to €50m.
Nevertheless, Napoli have reportedly been hesitant to bid above €43m for the Uruguayan striker, who is widely expected to depart Anfield this summer.
Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese is considered Napoli`s main alternative target, but this Italian forward is also valued at a minimum of €40m.
Notably, Ramadani also represents Federico Chiesa, another player linked with Napoli, and facilitated the 2022 transfer of former Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea.
