AS Monaco is actively searching for a new goalkeeper this summer to strengthen their squad. The Ligue 1 club aims to improve upon their current options, Radosław Majecki and Philipp Köhn, neither of whom has consistently impressed when given opportunities.
Reports suggest that Monaco`s pursuit of a primary goalkeeper has led them to initiate discussions with Serie A side Torino FC regarding the potential transfer of Serbian international Vanja Milinković-Savić.
There is said to be concrete interest from the team based in the Principality. However, the player`s representatives are reportedly taking their time due to significant interest from several other major European clubs also in the market for a goalkeeper this summer, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and AC Milan.
Milinković-Savić is estimated to be valued between €18 million and €20 million, although Torino might consider a player exchange as part of a deal. Napoli is believed to be currently leading the competition for his signature and could potentially include Cyril Ngonge in their offer.
