As AC Milan anticipates smooth negotiations with Manchester City regarding the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders, the club, known as the Rossoneri, is already looking for midfielders who can fill the creative role currently held by the Dutch international under the guidance of new manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Although reports from Friday indicated that Milan initially turned down an offer from Manchester City, the English club is reportedly preparing a higher bid that might persuade Milan to sell Reijnders.

Consequently, Allegri and sporting director Igli Tare have started discussing potential replacements. Two midfielders from Serie A are currently being considered, in addition to Samuele Ricci from Torino.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan has reportedly contacted Venezia to inquire about Hans Nicolussi Caviglia. Allegri previously coached this player during his last season at Juventus and used him in several matches.

Milan also highly value Nicolò Rovella of Lazio. However, they understand that Lazio might be very unwilling to sell him, especially given the club`s current situation after failing to qualify for any European competition, finishing seventh in Serie A following a 1-0 home loss to Lecce.
Samuele Ricci from Torino remains a solid option for Milan. However, Torino`s asking price of €35 million is causing Milan to look at other players instead.
