Marseille interested in signing Sacha Boey from Bayern Munich

Football News

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille is showing interest in acquiring Sacha Boey, the 24-year-old defender from Bayern Munich, during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Ligue 1 side is reportedly hoping to secure the French player on a loan agreement that includes an option to buy.

However, despite OM`s preference for a temporary solution, the Bundesliga champions are reportedly only willing to enter negotiations for a permanent transfer. Currently, Boey is said to be inclined to remain in Germany and compete for his position within Vincent Kompany’s squad rather than depart. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if a sufficiently appealing challenge elsewhere could persuade him to make a move.

Premier League and Other Interest

Les Phocéens are not the only club that has expressed interest in the young defender. Foot Mercato understands that several English clubs are also considering a potential transfer for the Bayern full-back. Additionally, Boey`s former club, Galatasaray, has been linked with a possible move to bring the ex-France youth international back.
