Goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, aged 25, has reportedly reached a personal agreement to transfer to Saudi Arabian club Neom SC. Furthermore, it is understood that an agreement has now also been finalised between Neom SC and his current club, OGC Nice.
OGC Nice are keen to sell Bulka this summer. With his contract expiring next year, discussions between the Polish international and the French side regarding a contract extension have stalled for several months. A renewal is not anticipated, and Nice is reluctant to lose the player on a free transfer when his contract ends. Consequently, a departure this summer is considered the logical outcome for both parties, particularly as Nice needs to sell players to fund acquisitions during the current transfer window.
English club Sunderland had appeared to be leading the pursuit for the goalkeeper and were reportedly close to securing a deal valued at €20 million. Although the Premier League side is still pursuing the transfer and intends to push until the deadline, Bulka has agreed terms with Neom SC, and the Saudi club now also holds an agreement with Nice for the transfer.
