Luis Henrique, the 23-year-old Brazilian forward, has finalized his move from French club Olympique de Marseille to Italian giants Inter Milan. He has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Serie A club.

Inter Milan, who were finalists in the recent UEFA Champions League campaign, had reportedly been pursuing Henrique for an extended period, spanning several weeks or even months. The Italian side was eager to secure the versatile attacker`s signature ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, and they have now successfully completed the transfer.

Henrique`s transfer to the San Siro is reported to be worth €23 million, potentially rising with performance-related bonuses. The confirmation of his arrival was made by Inter Milan on Saturday. Although he initially faced challenges after joining Marseille in 2020, his performance significantly improved, with his final season at the Vélodrome proving to be his most productive.

During his last season with “Les Phocéens,” he made 35 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists. Meanwhile, Marseille is now actively searching for a replacement for Henrique and has already identified potential targets in the transfer market.
