Luis Enrique Confident Bradley Barcola Will Remain at PSG

Football News

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has put an end to speculation surrounding the future of young attacker Bradley Barcola, confirming his expectation that the 22-year-old will stay at the club this summer.

While Barcola impressed earlier in the season, competition for a starting spot intensified towards the end of the campaign. The arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in January and the emergence of Désiré Doué added further depth to the squad.

This situation led to reports linking Barcola with a potential summer exit, with clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich reportedly showing interest. However, PSG`s position has consistently been that the player is not available for transfer.

Luis Enrique reiterated this stance during a recent press conference. “I have no doubt that he’ll stay our player,” the PSG boss stated. “We like the fact that our players are interesting other clubs. But he’s one of those young players that we’ve been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years.”

Adding to the certainty, sources indicate that the France international himself is content at the European champions and has no desire to leave the Parc des Princes.
