According to recent reports, Inter Milan is showing interest in signing Turkey international Orkun Kökçü from Benfica. This potential transfer is being considered as a move to replace midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, should he leave the Nerazzurri this summer.

Çalhanoğlu has been linked with a transfer to Galatasaray, with suggestions that the Turkish club is prepared to offer the Inter midfielder a contract worth approximately €10 million per season in wages.
While several other players, including Nicolò Rovella and Ederson, have been mentioned as potential candidates to replace Çalhanoğlu at Inter, reports from both Portugal and Italy confirm that Kökçü is also firmly on the club`s radar.
Sources indicate that Benfica would be willing to entertain offers for the 24-year-old midfielder in the region of €40 million or potentially higher.
However, Inter faces competition for the Turkish international`s signature. Calciomercato.com reports that Turkey`s three major clubs – Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş – have all expressed interest in acquiring Kökçü this summer.
