Juventus has reportedly reached an agreement regarding personal terms with Canadian international Jonathan David, but their interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen persists.
Even after securing Jonathan David, who is expected to join as a free agent, Juventus remains keen on acquiring Osimhen from their Serie A rivals. Recent reports indicate that the Turin club is still willing to make a move for the Nigerian international to strengthen their attacking options for the 2025-26 season.
It was previously reported in late June that David had agreed on personal terms with Juventus. Simultaneously, the Bianconeri were understood to be holding discussions with Osimhen`s representatives, with contacts between the club and Osimhen`s camp reportedly intensifying over the past weekend.
In related transfer strategy, Juventus is reportedly planning to sell Serbian international Dusan Vlahovic this summer. This is partly due to Vlahovic being unwilling to extend his current contract, which expires in 2026. Additionally, Randal Kolo Muani is currently on loan from PSG, and Juventus plans to enter talks with the French club to potentially extend the forward`s stay beyond the current summer loan period.
Victor Osimhen`s contract with Napoli contains a release clause valued at €75 million. However, this clause is not applicable to other clubs within Serie A. Consequently, if Juventus were to pursue Osimhen, they would need to negotiate a transfer fee directly with Napoli.
