Juventus briefly considered the possibility of signing Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne before his free transfer switch from Manchester City to Napoli.
Juventus was among several clubs that made initial contact with De Bruyne`s representatives when the 33-year-old announced his departure from City. While Juventus reportedly made an informal inquiry, they did not submit a formal offer. De Bruyne had received concrete offers from Napoli and Chicago Fire, but other clubs like Inter Miami and Liverpool also weighed up a potential deal.
