Jean-Clair Todibo Completes Permanent West Ham Transfer

Football News

OGC Nice has officially confirmed that French international defender Jean-Clair Todibo, aged 25, has completed a permanent transfer to West Ham United.

Todibo initially joined West Ham on a loan agreement at the beginning of the 2024/25 season. This deal included a mandatory purchase clause valued at €39 million, contingent upon West Ham successfully retaining their status in the top flight. Following the conclusion of the season, during which West Ham secured their Premier League position (while the three newly promoted teams were relegated), this clause has been activated, making his move to the London Stadium permanent.

In his debut season with the Hammers, Todibo made 27 appearances in the Premier League, starting in 21 of those matches. However, he did encounter some injury setbacks during his first year in England. This transfer formally brings his tenure at OGC Nice to an end. He represented “Le Gym” 136 times after joining the club from Barcelona in 2021.
