Jae-Sung Lee is making significant strides in Mainz’s scoring charts. The South Korean recently netted his 28th goal for FSV during a match in Bremen, a strike that allowed him to overtake fellow countryman Shinji Okazaki in the club’s all-time Bundesliga goal-scoring rankings. Currently, only five players have scored more frequently for the club in the Bundesliga. Lee is now hot on the heels of Mohamed Zidan and Yunus Malli, both of whom have 29 goals to their name. With just a few more goals, Lee could soon find himself among the top three goal scorers in Mainz 05’s Bundesliga history.
