Inter take off for 2025 Club World Cup

Inter Milan has officially started their journey towards the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The team recently departed from Malpensa Airport in Milan, heading for Los Angeles, USA, where they will participate in the prestigious tournament.

Inter, along with Juventus, holds the distinction of being the only two representatives from Serie A competing in this global event.

The Nerazzurri, who were runners-up in both Serie A and the Champions League in the 2024-25 season, are set to make their 2025 World Cup debut on Tuesday, June 17th.

According to the official statement from the club, the team will train at the campus of the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) in the days leading up to their first match.

Here is Inter`s confirmed schedule for the group stage (Group E):

  • First match: Against Mexican side Monterrey on Tuesday, June 17th at 18:00 local time (03:00 on June 18th in Italy) at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles.
  • Second match: Against Urawa Red Diamonds on June 21st at 12:00 local time (21:00 in Italy) at Lumen Field in Seattle.
  • Third match: Against River Plate on June 25th at 18:00 local time (03:00 on June 26th in Italy) at Lumen Field in Seattle.

Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate complete the list of opponents in Inter`s group.
