Inter Milan is reportedly keeping a close watch on Atalanta`s goalkeeper, Marco Carnesecchi. This comes amidst speculation that their current custodian, Yann Sommer, might be on his way out this summer.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Inter has identified the young Italian shot-stopper as a potential successor to Sommer, the seasoned Swiss international who is rumored to be considering a transfer away from Italy.

Carnesecchi`s name has been linked with several clubs this summer, including top Premier League sides like Manchester United. Inter is the latest club to show interest, but their move for him would likely depend on Sommer`s future at the club.
While Sommer`s contract with the Nerazzurri is set to expire in 2026, Tuttosport suggests that Inter might be persuaded to sell the 36-year-old goalkeeper if they receive a compelling offer from interested parties such as Galatasaray, or clubs in Saudi Arabia and England.

The reports also indicate that former AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma remains a potential target for Inter. Initial discussions have reportedly taken place with Donnarumma`s agent, Enzo Raiola, though a final agreement is still considered distant.
However, a potential transfer for Barcelona`s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen appears to be off the table. It is understood that his salary demands are considered too high for Inter`s current financial plans.
