Inter Milan is reportedly nearing a transfer agreement with Parma for forward Ange-Yoan Bonny, with a potential fee of €24 million. This is according to updates from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The young striker has been a target for Inter for several months, with interest reportedly increasing significantly after former Parma coach Cristian Chivu joined Inter to replace Simone Inzaghi.

Inter were prompted to accelerate and improve their offer after Bundesliga club Stuttgart also registered interest in securing the player`s signature.

Romano reports that negotiations between the clubs are progressing positively. Inter is said to be optimistic about finalizing a deal with Parma for a fixed transfer fee of €24 million.

This proposal is an increase from a previous offer and brings Inter very close to Parma`s valuation, which is reportedly around €25 million.

The 21-year-old Bonny moved to the Stadio Tardini from Chateauroux in the summer of 2021. He played a role in helping Parma achieve promotion back to Serie A.

In the recently concluded season, Bonny made 37 appearances in Serie A, scoring six goals and providing four assists. His performance contributed to Parma successfully avoiding relegation on the final matchday.

Bonny is seen as a suitable option to provide support and competition for Marcus Thuram in the Inter attack. This potential signing is particularly relevant as several current forwards, including Marko Arnautovic, Joaquin Correa, and Mehdi Taremi, are expected to depart the club at the end of the current campaign.
