Football News

Ahead of their Club World Cup clash against Fluminense on Monday evening, Inter have reportedly received a major boost with the return to training of Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi.

Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that both players resumed individual training sessions on Friday. This happened as the squad reached Charlotte, North Carolina, where they are based for the upcoming stages of the Club World Cup tournament.

According to these reports, the majority of the team had a rest day, but the two players, recovering from injuries, underwent evaluations and were permitted to get acquainted with the training facilities provided by Charlotte FC, which Inter is using.

In the attacking lineup, Pio Esposito is expected to start alongside Lautaro Martinez again.
