Genoa is actively seeking to generate revenue from player transfers this summer. The club has reportedly placed a €30 million valuation on defender Koni De Winter, who has attracted attention from Serie A rivals Atalanta, Napoli, and Inter.
This period of the year is crucial for many clubs, requiring sales to fund new signings and enhance squad depth for the upcoming season.
Koni De Winter is considered Genoa`s most marketable asset, expected to command a substantial fee. The former Juventus defender had a strong performance this past season, contributing three goals in 26 Serie A appearances.

As part of the €8 million agreement to sign De Winter permanently from Juventus in 2024 (following an initial loan), Juventus retained a clause entitling them to 20 percent of any future transfer fee received by Genoa.
This clause is understood to be a key factor in Genoa`s decision to set a high asking price, with reports suggesting the club is now demanding €30 million.
In other transfer news, Genoa has already finalized a deal for another player. An agreement has reportedly been reached with Levante for the temporary transfer of promising young player Alan Matturro.
The versatile 20-year-old defender will move to the Spanish club on a one-year loan deal valued at €500,000. The agreement also includes an option for Levante to make the transfer permanent for an additional €12 million.
