Genoa is reportedly active in the transfer market, having reached agreements today for Benfica striker Casper Tengstedt and young Real Madrid player Rafael Obrador.
Sky Sport Italia reports that a deal has been agreed with Benfica for Tengstedt to join on loan, including an option for a permanent transfer at the season`s end.
This move would mark the 25-year-old`s return to Serie A, where he played the 2024-25 season with Hellas Verona.
Despite injuries limiting him to just 25 Serie A appearances for Hellas, he still managed to score six goals and provide two assists.
Genoa Secures Tengstedt and Obrador
In parallel, both Sky Sport Italia and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirm that Genoa has finalized an agreement with Real Madrid for Obrador.
The 21-year-old left-back came through Real Madrid`s youth system.
This is expected to be a permanent transfer, but Real Madrid (the Merengues) have included a buy-back clause and will retain a significant percentage of any future sale fee.
He is considered the perfect replacement for Honest Ahanor, who is reportedly moving to Atalanta for €20 million.
