Following reports linking him with Juventus, Stefano Pioli is now also being considered for a return to Fiorentina. However, his current contract with Al-Nassr presents a significant challenge.

The 59-year-old manager left Milan a year ago and quickly secured a highly lucrative position with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.

Pioli Eyed for Serie A Return

Reports had already suggested Juventus were targeting him for a Serie A comeback, having parted ways with Thiago Motta in March and missed out on Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini.

Now, according to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are not the only club interested, as Pioli is also on Fiorentina`s shortlist.

Fiorentina, also known as The Viola, had planned to continue with coach Raffaele Palladino, but his sudden resignation created a need for a replacement.

This would mark a return to the Stadio Franchi for Pioli, who previously managed the team from 2017 to 2019 and remains highly popular among the club`s fans and players.

However, his substantial €12 million per season contract with Al-Nassr is expected to make a departure difficult.

Other potential candidates for the Fiorentina job include Alberto Gilardino and former Ajax coach Francesco Farioli.
