Fenerbahçe Makes Offer to PSG for Marco Asensio

Football News

Reports from L`Équipe suggest that Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have submitted a €15 million bid to Paris Saint-Germain in an attempt to sign winger Marco Asensio (29) permanently this summer. The Spanish international has just one year remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes.

Asensio, who joined PSG on a free transfer from Real Madrid last summer, spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Aston Villa. During his spell in the Premier League, he impressed with 8 goals and 1 assist across 21 appearances. Despite this productive loan period, he is reportedly not included in manager Luis Enrique’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

With PSG open to his departure, the final decision is said to rest with Asensio himself. Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho is reportedly actively working to persuade the winger to make the move to Istanbul. The Turkish club is also understood to be in discussions with the Ligue 1 champions regarding a potential permanent transfer for defender Milan Škriniar, who is under contract in Paris until 2028.
