Gianluigi Donnarumma`s contract with Paris Saint-Germain is nearing its expiry date. Despite drawing significant interest from major European clubs including Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Inter Milan, the Italian goalkeeper is prioritizing discussions with PSG regarding a new agreement.
Donnarumma was a pivotal player in PSG`s historic season, helping them secure their first-ever Champions League trophy. This achievement completed a memorable treble for the club, alongside their Ligue 1 and Coupe de France triumphs.
His current deal is set to run until June 2026. PSG have reportedly tabled an offer for an extension, which includes a notably lower salary compared to the €10 million per season he began earning upon his arrival from AC Milan in 2021.
Widespread Interest in Donnarumma
Reports indicate that both Manchester City and Bayern Munich have made contact regarding Donnarumma`s situation. Juventus also remains a potential destination, partly due to his strong relationship with Bianconeri advisor Giorgio Chiellini.
Furthermore, Italian side Inter Milan has expressed interest. However, Donnarumma`s agent, Enzo Raiola, has clarified that no formal negotiations have taken place with the Nerazzurri.
A meeting between Donnarumma`s representatives and Paris Saint-Germain is anticipated to happen within the coming days. This confirms the Italy international`s preference to first discuss his future with his current club before considering other options.
