Reports indicate that Italian club Atalanta is close to finalizing a transfer agreement with English side Southampton for winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. The proposed deal is reported to be worth a total of €21 million, a move that could see the player link up once again with coach Ivan Juric.
The transfer fee structure is understood to include an initial fixed payment of €17 million, with the potential for an additional €4 million to be paid through performance-related bonuses.
Furthermore, Southampton has reportedly secured a sell-on clause, which would give them 15 per cent of any profit made from a future transfer should Sulemana leave Bergamo.
Sulemana Set for Reunion with Former Coach Juric

The 23-year-old Ghanaian international is known for his versatility in attack. He is capable of playing effectively as a left-sided winger, a supporting striker, or even leading the line as a central forward when needed.
Sulemana originally moved to Southampton from French club Stade Rennes in January 2023 in a deal reportedly worth €25 million. He is currently under contract with the Saints until June 2027.
Southampton`s recent relegation from the Premier League is believed to be a primary reason for the club being willing to sell the player for a fee lower than they initially paid for him.

Ivan Juric has recently been appointed as the new manager of Atalanta. The club aims to build upon the successful nine-year tenure of their previous coach, Gian Piero Gasperini.
During the most recent season, Sulemana participated in 30 competitive matches for Southampton across the Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup competitions. He contributed two goals and provided three assists.
