CCP Games Forms Research Partnership with Google DeepMind

CCP Games, the renowned developer behind the massively multiplayer online game EVE Online, has announced a significant strategic shift. The company has transitioned from its former parent company, Pearl Abyss, and is now operating under a new identity, Fenris Creations. Concurrently, Fenris Creations has entered into a substantial ‘research partnership’ with Google DeepMind, a leading artificial intelligence research laboratory.

This collaborative venture is reported to be valued at an impressive $120 million, which approximates to £88 million. The partnership is expected to focus on advancing the application of artificial intelligence within the realm of game development and potentially beyond.
